Our Adult Fellowship is the body in the church which is made up of all members of the church. The Adult Fellowship is responsible for the following functions throughout the church year:

• Spring and Fall Church Suppers
• Community and world outreach through blanket and "Gifts of the Heart" drives
• Senior Recognition service and luncheon
• Various receptions after worship
• Annual church picnic
• ...and numerous other functions

The Jefferson UCC Spring Supper will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the Jefferson Ruritan Center. The cost of the meal is $13 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-12, and free for children under age 5. The meal is all you can eat and is served family style. The menu includes Turkey, Fried Oysters and Country Ham. Please come and support our church missions.

Church Members - help is needed to serve starting at or before 12 noon on March 1. Also, help is needed on Friday, February 29 to set up for the supper. If you don't have a job assignment, see Alma Lakin, Debbie Ferrell or Nancy Piper.

The Adult Fellowship is hoping to collect donations to enable us to send at least four boxes to our sons and daughters serving in the military. These boxes will be sent out in late February/early March. A list of requested items is below. A box is located in the Narthex of the church to receive the donations.

• CANDY: Good & Plenty, Gummy Bears, Hard Candy, Fruit Breezes, Twizzlers, Skittles, NO CHOCOLATE please.
• DENTAL: Floss, Mouthwash, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste
• DRINK: Kool-Aid (sweet, individual serving size), Gatorade, Powdered Drink Mixes (individual serving size), Sweet Tea Mixes
• FOOD (Including dry good and snacks): Cookies (in a tin), Canned Meats (flip top, no pork), Peanuts, Dried Fruits, Pringles, Sugar Packets, Clif or Balance Bars, Beef Jerky, Canned Fruit (pop-top cans), Cereal (single serving boxes), Girl Scout Cookies (no chocolate), Granola Bars, Gum, Tuna Kits, Doritos, Oreo's (single serving packs)
• MUSIC: CD Fanny Packs, CD's
• GAMES: Board Games, Checkers (travel size), Chess (travel size), Crossword Puzzles, Playing Cards
• PRINTED MATERIALS: Comic Books, Crossword Books, Search-A-Word Books, Pens, Writing Paper, Envelopes
• HYGIENE: Baby Wipes, Chapstick, Shave Cream/Gel, Eye Drops, Deodorant, Feminine Hygiene Products, Foot Powder, Hand Lotion, Nail Clippers, Q-Tips, Disposable Razors, Shampoo, Soap, Sunscreen, Tissues, Toilet Paper (travel size), Wash Cloths
