Sunday Church Hour Nursery Volunteers

Our Church Hour Nursery is growing and your help is needed to staff it each week. Our needs include the following:

  • 1 Church Hour Nursery Coordinator to call and line up volunteers
  • 52 +/- willing workers to help us grow by staffing a Church Hour Nursery once a week so we can encourage our young parents to come to church
Youth Fellowship Adult Helpers

A joint Youth Fellowship program with the Jefferson United Methodist Church is being developed and implemented, but we need adult volunteers to help us with the work here at our church. This includes:
  • 1-4 adults to help plan and carry out our joint pot luck dinners
  • 1-4 adults to serve as drivers when needed for special events and programs.
The programs will be planned by the Pastors of the two churches.
Aluminum Cans for Christian Education

Thanks to all who are bringing in clean used aluminum cans! Please put the cans in "KERMIT" (the green wagon) on the back parking lot of the church. All proceeds from the cans are used for Christian Education. Thank you!

Thanks also goes out to all those volunteers who sorted through the thousands of cans prior to sending them to the recycling center.

The work was accomplished in two separate days, and we netted $251.97. Our thanks to everyone who contributed to this project!
